Tasting Notes:
The warm 2024 season has delivered a Pinot loaded with lifted spicy berry fruits, lots of raspberries, roses and twigs of the forest. The palate is juicy, accessible and has a great depth of balanced tannin to complement the plate of wild berry fruits on offer!
Winemaking Notes:
Picked on the 21st and 22nd of March
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit was partially destemmed and fermented as whole berries, with 10% as whole bunches. On skins for 14 days then pressed to oak (10% new) for malolactic fermentation on lees. In oak for 9 months before racking prior to bottling.
Viticultural Notes:
2024 was a vintage where a mild and uneventful spring provided better flowering conditions than previous years. Harvest period was warm producing wines with attractive regional charm.
